Install bujusjujus on your phone
Get instant Pokemon TCG restock alerts on your lock screen — without a separate app, an app store download, or a server URL to type. Setup takes about 30 seconds on iPhone or Android.
On an iPhone? There's now a native app.
bujusJujus is live on the App Store — the same alerts with Apple Push, Face ID login, and long-press previews. Download on the App Store → The home-screen install below still works on Android and as an iPhone fallback.
What is this?
The bujusjujus website can be installed directly onto your phone's home screen as a full-screen app. It looks and feels like a native app, but there's nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play — your browser handles everything. Once installed, you log in once and tap Enable Alerts to start receiving lock-screen push notifications the moment a Pokemon TCG product goes in stock at retail price.
This is the recommended way to receive alerts. It replaces the previous setup that required installing a separate app called ntfy and typing in a server URL + topic name. The ntfy path still works if you prefer it — both deliver the same alerts.
Install in 30 seconds
Open the login page on your phone
On iPhone, open alerts.bujusjujus.com/login in Safari. On Android, open the same URL in Chrome. Other browsers won't show the install option.
Install to your home screen
iPhone (iOS 16.4 or newer): tap the Share icon (square with an arrow at the bottom of Safari), scroll down, and tap Add to Home Screen. Android: tap the Chrome menu (three dots, top right) and tap Install app (sometimes labeled Add to home screen — same thing).
Open the app from your home screen
Close your browser. Tap the new bujusjujus icon on your home screen — it launches full-screen with no browser bar, exactly like a native app.
Enter the username and password you set when you signed up. (Reset your password by emailing [email protected] if you've forgotten it.)
Enable Alerts
Tap the Enable Alerts button at the top right of the dashboard. Your phone will ask permission to send notifications — tap Allow. The button turns green and says Alerts On. You're done.
Restock alerts will now arrive on your lock screen as products go in stock at retail price. Tap the notification to jump straight to the retailer's product page.
iPhone vs. Android — what's the difference?
iPhone
Requires iOS 16.4 or newer (released March 2023 — almost every iPhone in active use today). You must install from Safari; Chrome or Firefox on iOS won't show the install option. Once installed, push works exactly like a native app.
Android
Chrome's install banner often appears automatically. Push notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging — same pipeline as native apps. Battery savers shouldn't interfere; the app stays alert-ready while installed.
Troubleshooting
I don't see "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone
- Make sure you're using Safari, not Chrome or Firefox. Apple only allows installs from Safari.
- Check that your iOS version is 16.4 or newer (Settings → General → About). Older iOS doesn't support web push from installed PWAs.
- The Share icon is at the bottom of the Safari screen on portrait orientation. On landscape, it's at the top right.
I don't see "Install app" on Android Chrome
- Scroll the page and wait ~10 seconds — Chrome's install eligibility check needs a brief interaction first.
- If the menu shows "Add to Home screen" instead, that's the same thing on newer Chrome versions. Tap it and confirm the prompt that follows shows the bujusjujus app icon (not a generic Chrome bookmark icon).
I tapped Enable Alerts but I'm not getting notifications
- Make sure the button says Alerts On (green) and not Blocked (red). If blocked, go to your phone's Settings → Notifications → bujusjujus and enable them.
- On iPhone, you must open the app from your home screen icon (not from Safari). Push only works in standalone mode.
- Restocks don't happen every minute. If you've waited 24+ hours with no alerts, email [email protected].
What if I want to use ntfy instead?
That works too. See the ntfy setup guide. The two paths are independent — you can use one, the other, or both. Same alerts, same speed.
Can I install on more than one phone?
Yes. Repeat the install steps on every device you want alerts on. Each install is its own push subscription, so you can have bujusjujus on your phone, tablet, partner's phone, etc.
